SNAKES - On the run Saturday I kept my eyes open for snakes. Some of you know me and how much I keep a watch out for snakes on our runs through the wilderness. Dead or alive I hate snakes. By the way I did not see any-what a great run we had Saturday.
The scenery was beautiful. To me it was not as closed in as the run in Raymond. I don't like closed in places.
Hope everyone who is a Mother had a good Mothers Day. I know I did. Both of my children were at my brother-in-laws to eat lunch with me and their grandmother. My daughter (who has not been in a very good mood these last few weeks) and her cousin never stopped talking the whole time they were eating. Her cousin is moving to Texas in a few weeks so they talked and laughed all through dinner. It was so funny to hear them. My sister-in-law and I laughed at them. My son on the other hand was very quite, his girlfriend was having to leave and go back to Oxford for summer school. He was ready to go after lunch to see her before she left for school.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Are you sure that was 8 miles
Was that 8 miles? There were hill and mud holes and trees that made it look like you were going through a tunnel. There were wide open spaces and even civil war people. At the cannon on our way out of the woods they had ran out of water so we kept going and stuck together.
WE ARE MARATHONERS.
Mark, forget what that woman said. My grandmother always told me what goes around comes around. Her first mistake was saying something like that. Some of us may not be as fast as she says she is but WE will alway come out on top.
Are you sure that was 8 miles??? Sometimes it felt like 28 but in the end I felt great.
I LOVE HILL, I LOVE HILLS, I LOVE HILLS - I HATE HILLS, I HATE HILLS.
Thanks Mark, Robin and Matt.

Excuses
I have not been blogging and there is no excuse that I can come up with that will be good enough. I could say I've been real busy and don't have time, or I have a bunch of stuff going on in my life right now. Both of which are good excuses but not good enough for me. I talked to a friend tonight and after getting off the phone with them I thought about some of the things we talked about and realized that I was not training the way I need to be. I feel my best when I run. I have a better attitude during the day and a lot more energy. I have run this week but have slacked off real bad. This has been one of my bad weeks, if I can call it that.
At the 10K this weekend my best friends son is running in it and I do want to make him think I can run too. HA! HA! HA!. I ran 2 marathons, all he has done was run track. Now who do you think will win this race???
It after 10pm and I'm going to get ready for bed I have had a long exhausting day.
See you Saturday.
